Historic NRA CSR 4th April 2015

#1 Post by Strangely Brown »

The second one the NRA has put on, this time with a few differences.

Three classes:
Classic = SMLE's
Veteran = No.4 or No.5
Veteran Optic = No.4T

Six matches, two at 100 yards (Fig 12), two at 200 yards (Fig 11) and finally two at 300 yards also with a Fig 11.
Total round count for the day will be 54, although you will need to make sure you have extra in case of protests and damaged targets etc.

There are no run downs so even the fat wheezy lads can enter! :run:

Full CoF and entry conditions are here:
http://www.nra.org.uk/common/asp/Calend ... RA&id=3453

Edited to add: Accoutrements may be in the "Spirit of the Original", so if you have an old leather 1903 Patt bandoleer you want to use or binoculars of the period please do so. :good:

Not many regulars from here will be prepared to make the effort unfortunately, not much of a competitive spirit to be found.

The last one was a very good event so I'm in with the SMLE. cheers

I have lots of competitive spirit but sadly bugger all spare cash **** I might dust off the number 4 and a couple of boxes of HXP and see if I can squirrel away a few quid to come and have a bash :good:

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
