Tool ID

#1 Post by Mdwysc »

Hi All,

I friend gave me this the other day, I first thought it was a headspace and timing tool for either a 30 or 50 BMG. I tried to research it on the interwebnet but couldn't find anything. Anyone here know what it is for. The thread on the top looks like some sort of puller and the blades are all marked SFT 1965.

It's a combination tool for an SLR.

Ahh, the old FN, shot it once in the cadets, remember good things about it. Thanks for that, what's the thread for? extracting something?

No...for a BRUSH

The "pull thru" would take some time/effort to attach as I'm not aware of anyone capable of drilling/tapping a length of string. ..

Thanks for the sarcasm, maybe you could wind your neck in and have a look the rope pull thru's that have a Male thread on them.
