I did wonder if there was enough of us to start a "Supine" club at Bisley; but I guess with age and injury (my new knee, spinal operation etc) there are very few of us now doing it now.targetman wrote:"That's a very interesting looking rifle, but if I tried to shoot in that position, I'd never get up again!"
Which is why I had to sell it....!!!!
An old back injury and a slipped disc has left my lower back vulnerable and adopting the 'supine' position quickly became too painful to bear....so, sadly, it had to go...but it was fun for while.....especially as I really enjoy the 'old school' type of shooting at Bisley.
Shooting in the supine position was once described to me as, "We few, we happy few,........."
