I think I need to go through the pile of spare parts and make one of these.
That very high rear sight may take some thinking and machine work, but it could be a new project for me.
I have a 1943 Maltby No 4 receiver with nothing to do right now. Perhaps a nice barrel in .303, that should stir up locals a bit.

I'm sure we could find a rearsight for you over here, if it helps.

I really need to try "back" shooting some time.
Here's another back gun of military origin:

Is there really a need to mix yoga and shooting?

Please correct me if I'm wrong. This position is known as "Supine" and also "Creedmoor"?

Supine is mainly used in the UK for the back position: our American cousins generally use the term Creedmore.

That's a very interesting looking rifle, but if I tried to shoot in that position, I'd never get up again! :o lol

Which is why I had to sell it....!!!!

An old back injury and a slipped disc has left my lower back vulnerable and adopting the 'supine' position quickly became too painful to bear....so, sadly, it had to go...but it was fun for while.....especially as I really enjoy the 'old school' type of shooting at Bisley.
