So if you have firearms for game/vermin shooting and you are not a member of a club how do you record usage?

Well if you're shooting on someone elses land i'd presume they could ask the owner if you're shooting there or not. If its your own land would you need to rely on 'trophy' photos??

Yes, in the bad old days when Canada had that incredibly stupid long gun registry, there were apparently thousands of firearms recorded with the serial number 10-22!

From what I remember, the "usage" caveat only applies to target shooting guns solely. Sporting and part of a collection do require recorded use as certificates are issued on a different basis.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
