To be honest, I'm not sure if I actually saved anything, but when I ordered it (early May) the Tikka T3 version of the Tac21 wasn't listed by anyone in Europe, not was the skeleton stock.
Including the .300 WSM T3 Super Varmint, TET UniMount, TET Spartan III brake/suppressor, Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP MOA EMB-1 scope and other gizmos, it's cost me around £3k.
I'm chuffed to bits with it. I've put about 100 rds through it to date, and have a nice 155gr SMK load worked up. Next is to do the same for the 175gr Berger VLD for 600 - 1,200 yds. I'm using Reload Swiss RS62 - very happy with it.

Here's my latest - this time a .308 Win T3 Super Varmint 20" in KRG X-Ray chassis with Swarovski PV-S 6-24x50PL scope ad TET Unimount and Atlas bipod. In the photo it's fitted with a Bob-sled single-shot platform, however I also have 2x MDT polymer AICS 10rd. mags. I also have a TET Spartan III reflex moderator and Tac-brake.

Lovely rifles DW58! Can't wait to see them in the flesh soon.
Whilst I was the person who started the thread I do wonder that you are close to the price of some rather good off the the shelf rifles if you are sinking £3000+ nevertheless fantastic. You will let me have a close look at the MDT chassis when we are both at the range the same time in the future.
I have of recent been looking at the Savage M10 mounted in the MDT Tac21, very interesting and apparently an excellent factory trigger.

I've heard very good things about the current Savage range - two of the Cawdor regulars shoot Savage Model 12 FTRs with very good results.
I can speak with confidence on the Tac21 and have no doubt that the Savage/Tac21 would be a good combination.
I'll be at Cawdor on the 18th where you can examine my Tac21 and even shoot it if the rules allow.

A bit of a thread resurrection here, but just wanted to add my satisfaction with a T3/KRG combo here too - thanks to Welsh for the info earlier and you were right that I'd be happy with the X-Ray!
Finally got my KRG X-Ray setup finished (thanks to Gary & Jordan from March Scopes for their patience in following my orders for the various KRG add-ons!).
Finished spec is:
.308 Tikka T3 Tactical (20")
KRG X-Ray chassis (Sako green)
Bushnell XRS 4.5-30x50
TET Unimount
Add-ons include:
Roedale bolt handle
KRG Spigot mount, overmolded cheek piece, QD sling mounts, LOP spacers, large pistol grip panels
Accu-Shot monopod

& out in the field...
