Too late though.
He'll be fuming when he finds out about the backdown!!
That's a shame.
Yip - esp. given that he was the ONLY local RFD that supplied cartridges.
Now faced with about an hours round trip to either Edinburgh (the 1 RFD in "SNP Central", a bloody useless one at that, Barbour jackets for tourists etc.) with an added £1 per nano-second to park, or a 90 minute plus trip, down to the Scottish Borders or Berwick on Tweed.

Can I claim for time/mileage to the EC C~units that brought this new bollox in?

Dromia, can you point me to the original HO announcement regarding this change. I can find references to it but not the original source.

Where has this rumour come from?
It is not on the Home Office website and neither the BASC or the NRA have any knowledge of this not being implemented on the 31 dec"
Will the OP post a link as to where this has come from or is it as I believe total bullsh*t.

I am not surprised that the NRA has no knowledge of this.

I'd still like to see a verifiable announcement from a Home Office source before treating this as gospel.

From where? From whom? Provide the evidence as my local RFds know nothing of this they are having to go 'live' on the 31 Dec.
People saying they have the knowledge are very short on providing the evidence to others.
