Could you chaps read what I posted instead of going on about getting stuff in boxes with MidwayUS written on it.

It was mentioned to contact MidwayUS regarding an order with MidwayUK....which will not work since MidwayUK is a separate entity.

Gavin told me this when they first started out, of course this could have changed this then...

I reckon then they have to be some sort of Franchise. I found this. "MidwayUSA products are available for purchase throughout the world. Local market Midways include France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom."

As well as that the Midway logo is a Trademark and I can't see Midway US letting independent companies use their trademarked name unless there was a connection of some kind. Anyways it's easy enough to find out, I'll fire off an email to Midway USA and ask razz

Christel I did read your post but that does not change the fact that my last order box had Midway USA on it and the returns form address was to Midway USA as well not UK.

Midway UK do not seem to hold any stock on these shores always 7-10 days delivery times, so where do they get the stuff we order from the moon :p :run:

That would go some way in explaining why they are so expensive for a lot of stuff.

They get it shipped over from MidwayUSA, that's why there's a long shipping time on most items coupled with the occasional customs delay and the stuff being in MidwayUSA shipping boxes.

I wonder if in law the claim of non affiliation would stand when the two "businesses" are so dependently interlinked?

Just called Midway USA as I am awaiting goods, have paid and recieved nothing, very annoying, spoke to a very nice lady, who said, "As far as we are aware they are still trading as normal and will be till the middle of next year."

Which I thought was interesting!
