#1 Post by joe »

i went to christmas party last night had abit too much (was not incapable just abit p***) on my way home waiting for the train i was nearly at then end of platform finish off my last bottle when i was approched by BTP Plod who asked if i was ok, i said i was, even apologised for having an open bottle, and im just going home finishing off my beer and i'm not going jump or anything! he said he was concerned for my safety and asked me to walk over to gaurd cabin i sat down and he asked is everything ok resurred him that i was, and just a had a few to many. he asked for id which i showed him and did a name check! my train came, the guard said thats your train mate, so i left and went on my way, however i noticed him talking into his radio and no doubt the pnc will reveal that i'm a FAC Holder!
could he report me to the licensing department and have my ticket pulled because he might think im either a) a drunkard b) not right in the head (which i'm neither

its the party season, you were not causing a disturbance or distress to the public, nor were you driving.........ur fkd! lollol
if he thought you were a problem then he would have done something about it at the time, just don't make a habit of it. :good:

BTP probably spend more time scraping unfortunates off tracks than anyone should really have to. Once he was satisfied you weren't a nut or wanted, there would be no issue. Obviously there wasn't as you went in your way.

Don't worry about it.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Had you been arrested and convicted then yes there is a probability of loosing your FAC/SGC , see this item from BASC , the chief police officer can deem you an irresponsible person and not fit to have them .

As you walked away from the situation and no action was taken at the time then no offence has been committed .

You have a good defence - if drunk and incapable of caring for your own welfare he was obliged to arrest you or summon an ambulance.

The fact that he let you go home under your own steam would indicate you were not too bad.

Re drink - generally its only a FAC pling thing if you are regularly drinking to excess and coming to notice.
