Thred on the long P14 sight (axis) retaining screw

Anybody know off hand what the thread is that is used on the long thin screw that goes thru the ears on top of the P14 action to hold a PH5B sight in place?

2BA?

& my fav chemical is :-) 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine.......... used to kill frogs.... but widely consumed & in vast quantities by the French? Eh?

I don't think its 2BA the guy at work made one for me Ill ask him on Monday if he remembers what it is.

According to my reference the screw, axis, backsight is a good old Enfield make-it-up-as-we-go-along. Major diameter 0.096", 56TPI. No tooth form information given.

I don't think you will find one of the shelf. Like I said the last one I got had to be made for me.
