Whittaker Special out of it's stock

It might sound awfully petty but I'm researching both the Whitaker Specials and Geoff Hart's conversion of a No.4, and would rather wait to have my research published in the HBSA Journal before sharing it.
Although I do agree it should be on Wikepedia.

I have had one of Geoff's "Whitaker" No4 builds in the past, (it was given to me by a friendly RFD) I can dig out some pics for you if you like?

Sad thing is, it was originally a BSA No4T, AHHHH! shame really, but I suppose they were rebuilt when No4T's weren't worth that much.

Absolutely no problem with that. When you've published, and if you and the HBSA are happy, I'll convert it into a Wikipedia article.

I dont know of anyone who has written up on the transition period of British shooting smiths from service to pure target rifles (late 40's through 50's?)
There are still people about who knew them.
Anyone researching?
