New Landmarc range regs
Please has anyone seen or knows where to find a copy of the revised range regs applied by Landmarc from Nov 1st for range use?
Looks like I'm going to need a personal assistant before I can use our range!!
Thank you

Re: New Landmarc range regs
What in particular ? Landmarc are in a state of turmoil at the moment, the new contract with DIO started on Nov 1st, and nobody seems to know what's happening. And the mass redundancies haven't helped either :/

Re: New Landmarc range regs
We understand we have to do a RASP for each booking, to be in Landmarcs hands 12.30 before day of shoot.
The RW will contact an authorising person who will ask questions of the RCO before allowing RW to allow us to shoot.
We will have to report faults to RW who will then have to get a work number before undertaking any on range repairs.
I think this is just a start!
We have nothing in writing as yet. This info was from a conversation with the RW.

Re: New Landmarc range regs
Are the NRA not keeping clubs abreast of such changes?
Mercer has claimed that they are making progress with Landmarc/MoD, interpreting such changes and briefing clubs would be good evidence of this claim.
Anything on the web site?

So where is the source of information the OP seeks?

Re: New Landmarc range regs
Range Regulations are drawn up for each Range Complex by representatives of the MoD not Landmarc. If there are new Range Regulations in force for Millpool then the OP needs to contact the booking authority and ask for a copy.
If there have been changes to the Range Booking requirements then this will also have been imposed by the DIO not Landmarc.

Re: New Landmarc range regs
We are hearing the same for our range as the OP is asking about, not anything confirmed yet. It is very frustrating.
Re: New Landmarc range regs
Of all the essential functions to keeping civilian shooting going in the UK, you'd think some form of framework agreement on changes that affect civilian rifle clubs would be top of the list for the NGBs.
MoD/Landmarc are a de facto monopoly when it comes to range access and don't rely on external revenue to any great extent. Something needs to be done to at least get changes communicated properly.

Re: New Landmarc range regs
We were told last month that after 1st November the Range Warden would open and close the range, and we would have to provide someone to man the range phone in case of a check fire.
However, we shot at Stoney Castle yesterday and there was no evidence of any new procedures.
I did hear a rumour that the remaining range wardens were going on strike
