Very nice No4 Mk2....now that's what a good shooting crown is supposed to look like!

Try Phil Rose at

pjrcollectables@hotmail.co.uk

Phil was recommended to me by my FEO and has done lots of work for films, BBc etc.

He specialises in enfields, and has a vast collection or parts, woodwork etc.

Phil is a realist, he will not charge you the earth, and is a very decent and fair individual.

He does not have a website etc, but does well by word of mouth.

He did me a No4 Savage 2 groove for a very good price which shoots very nicely on irons (which is all it will be used for). The only deviation from the plan was that I asked him to fit a Mk1 leaf sight rather than the later 2 distance war expediency unit (Mk3?) saying that most of them would have had these fitted on refurb anyway.

He has kept me in reasonably priced bits, daft ideas and bullets for my collection ever since.
