Can anyone recommend some electronic muffs?

#1 Post by Watcher »

Its coming up to that time and the kids are asking what I might want for Christmas. For years I've used cheap nasty muffs but I thought it might be nice to get some fancy electronic ones. Has anyone any suggestions?

TIA

Peltor ComTac are pretty good (I have a pair for "work" and they are good, although I would say that the Deben posh ones are slimmer and a bit lighter. If you want iPod capability, go for the Howard Leight Impact ones. They have a 3.5mm female jack plug for the choons.

MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X. Excellent acoustic, amazing battery life, very comfortable & due to their design they 'll not fry even under the most torrential rain.

MSA Sordin Supreme here as well, we both use them albeit different versions and they are superb in operation and impossible to fault in my eyes.

I vote for Howard Leight Impact defenders. Cheap (in terms of electronic ear defenders), comfortable, fairly slim, fine in the wet and i'm still running the same batteries mine came with when i bought them 3 years ago!

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
