icon arms will be importing .22lr lbp sig sauer p226 and a glock lbp there might even be a possablity of a full bore lever release version maby next year

the sig sauer p226 .22lr is on a real 9mm lower and in fact sig offer 9mm conversion kits that will actully fit the lower (sig xchange kits)

When I first heard this I thought they would be based on the Sig Mosquito and ISCC M22 respectively. Both zamak pistols.

Their facebook page proved me wrong with regards to the P226 at least. Its going to be based on an original P226 frame with a modified Sig X-Six conversion kit. Looks bloody lovely, there were rumours kicking around of a lever release 9mm P226 but I've nothing to back that up with.

My mates had a slot on his ticket for the Sig for almost a year now, they've been a fair while in coming out, hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later now

If the full bore lever release P226 ever becomes available I'll be after one. Quite happy with my K22 X trim for .22, but I'd love something that gives a bigger bang.
