Thinking of a SGC 9mm LR

#1 Post by CDM5 »

Hey guys,

I've got a slot for a 9mm SGC lever release rifle, but no funds.

Thinking of selling my .22LR CMMG and .357 Marlin to fund the purchase.

I will still be left with 2 custom 10/22s and a .44 Marlin.

Only thing stopping me is the cost of FMJ 9mm bullets, cases I already have hundreds of from pistol shooting trips in Europe.

Would you say it's a sensible trade?

If you're anything like one of the guys at our club you'll blatt through a shed load of 9mm. I've shot all of the guns you talk about and found the 9mm the most "smile inducing".

Do you need to stipulate lever release when requesting the SGC, in the same way as the Mars action?

9mm Rifle is all I had on mine. It's on my ticket as 'lever action'
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

I got to have a go of one in our club. I'm not sure I would..... (Discounting the appalling service offered by SGC....)
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Why would you need to use fmj`s and not lead?
