Never can get excited about those Henry rifles - they just look wrong to me with that tiny little ejection port.

Now at home I have my sole entry in the bling stakes - one of these: A Winchester 94 Golden Spike Commemorative - left to me by an uncle who was a railroad man.

Unfortunately he never saved the original box, and so destroyed much of its monetary value - though I would not sell it. He was a favourite uncle as he was the only one who shared my interest in firearms. My dad used to mutter in exasperation "You're just like your Uncle Jim" - he didn't mean it as a compliment.

The Copper coated AR definitely does not float my boat, I like my stuff to look as it's designer(s) originally intended.

Regarding the Henry, didn't the original eject through the top and not a side port or was that a later addition? The ones I've seen have no port left or right.

I have a Uberti Yellow Boy Carbine in .45 (bought it off Mag41UK), that's got what I call natural bling in that it has a Brass Receiver. Shoots well and beautifully made.
