[quote="ovenpaa"]I am not sure where the 'Reproduction are rubbish' comes from, I had one here a few days ago and was quite impressed with it,

Did you shoot with it?

It's only a well known gun smith that fits scopes refused to take a job on for a friend if he got the scope while on his Hols in the US, saying it will keep falling apart and he will expect me to repair the bl***y thing every time.

Also one I have had a go with on a No4 sniper copy will not hold zero, so the "rubbish" is only my opinion.

I will pm you my friend but I am annoyed about this.
Its not the first time its happened to me. What does pee me off is the fact that who ever deleted the post does not have the decency to tell me why its been deleted.
I am a moderator on several other forums. We have our own server based in Holland and host other peoples web sites forums. I would never just pull a post with out letting the guy know why. I normally email them pointing out why the post has been deleted. I'm tempted to just chuck the bloody mount back in the box it came out off.

What I did want to do before we went any further was post pictures to let you see the item so you could decide whether its what you are looking for and if its fit for purpose.

The item is not for sale to the general public it does not belong in the for sale section I am offering the mount exclusively to dellboy should it suit his purpose. If so we will then move on to pm ing each other. Like adults do.

I thought this is what forums were for people communicate with each other if they can help each other out great.

Alpha1 if you would adhere to the forum rules and take the advice that was given you on previous occasions when you have done this then your posts wouldn't disappear.

From your post you obviously know damn fine why the post has been removed but you still wilfully chose to ignore previous advice and then bleat about the consequences.

If you continually choose to ignore the forum rules and the advice of the forum staff then don't expect them continue to try and help you as it is obviously a futile exercise with you.

For what its worth, I saw a very rare creature on Sunday.

Someone shooting a service rifle, with an issued sling, no scope, no extra (un issued) cheek pads no nasty bipod, no bags, stands, etc etc. Just how it came off teh assembly line.

My apologies if for health reasons folk need these things, but if not, why not grab the nettle and shoot the poor thing as the rifle god intended? Seriously, yes it is not as precise as using an F/TR rifle, but how boring can that get??? (I will go straight to hell for that but ce la vie) :55: But what it is doing is using all of the marksmanship principles whilst keeping an old soldier alive.

OK, it may only manage a 1 or 2 mOA group, but if you can shoot the rifle to its ability as is you have some ability...I cant tesnews

I dont buy it that all squddies had perfect vison either, does a rifle have to be scoped to be useable?

There were not many 4(T) made for a reason, but a decent standard rifle is no less precious or rewarding to shoot.

The only possible issue being to get suitable targets but that can be done....or just drag it out in the middle of an F Class shoot like I do occasionally, that causes a few giggles but at least I was in the black at 600 first shot which is more than can be said for some effers.....did'nt last though

There is more to shooting than scrubbing out as many skill sets as possible then blaming everything but the shooter when you dont single hole every shoot....not aiming this at the OP but you know what I mean ;)

Enjoy it for what it is if you can..... :good:
