Cheshunt rifle and pistol club http://www.cheshuntrpc.co.uk/5.html but there's no mention of a full bore range any more .
The next club north of you would be Bishops Stortford http://www.bsrc1944.org.uk/
These are clubs , so I don't know if you can just hire a lane .

I shot at the Cheshunt club as a kid with neighbour many years ago,i think its only gallery, small bore and practical shotgun they shoot there.I contacted Cheshunt when i got back into shooting and i never got a reply.
I will contact Bishops Stortford though.

Cheshunt is gallery & smallbore only but very much alive.

Bishops Stortford is approved for 7.62 but you have to be a member.

Barton road but again hire as an approved club.

If you are only running in a barrel then the zero range & snail trap at Bisley might be best bet & for a fiver the cheapest option?
Quality control of Scottish Ethanol. & RDX/HMX

& my fav chemical is :-) 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine.......... used to kill frogs.... but widely consumed & in vast quantities by the French? Eh?

Bishop's Stortford is a great range complex, out to 100yds and full-bore. Membership is a bit steep (initial joining fee) but you buy in to the whole range as the club bought the freehold a few years ago.

If you cannot get a reply from them let me know and I might be able to help. I don't think they allow pay-and-play but you might be able to go once as a guest to check it out.

Second this. They've got a 100 yard range which you can use for anything up to 308Win but only one day a month for fullbore, any time for smallbore (my memory may be fallible and/or this may have changed.) They've also got an indoor 25 yard smallbore range with about 8 lanes. I think that they also have a setup for practical shotgun, but could be mistaken.

I live about a mile from the range complex and was a probationary member there for a year in about 2010 but never joined in the end because it just wasn't worth it for me, given the number of days a year I spend at Bisley anyway. They seemed like a nice bunch at the club.
