This is very good news. The curb on the power of Provincial Firearms Officers is a dig at the Liberal government in Ontario which in pursuit of their anti-gun agenda has imposed some truly bizarre conditions on dealers. But what happens when the thrice-damned Liberals get back in again? Will Canada see a return of the long gun registry and other foolishness?

Actually, I have to thank Canada for that in a way - because every time somebody suggests a return to a long-gun registry here in NZ, we just point to the billion dollar disaster that was Canada's registry, and the idea quietly goes away again.

Never all the while the media have the public scared to death of anything gun shaped, never mind anything else....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
