Lots of those plastic small parts bins and the panels to fix them to the wall with.

Reading/task lights on flexible stems, so you can position the light just right for any task.
Securely-mounted bench that doesn't move around when you've got a press mounted to it.
Adjustable-height chair.

doesn't really matter what you have in there as you'll rake it all out regularly and leave it in a heap at your front door and put new bedding in...........

Re: Design Badger a gun room
It'll be new build, oomans, so there will be plenty of insulation and lighting but probably no, or very few, windows. Very stout door. Hot and cold running water, maybe a couple of vices and lots of storage boxes.
Any more ideas?

Intercom for ordering beer and food once the work is done !

Anti fatigue flooring so that it is comfortable and warm underfoot and small parts do not bounce into the darkest corner if dropped. Also a good selection of correctly fitting tools and a lot of shelving so you can see things.

Dust extract for the knifemaking.

Flooring, that painty on stuff that stops dust and makes it easier to keep clean. Can be green or undeground flat earth colour to make you feel at home.
Comfort mats for the paws and claws too. Standing on a hard floor can be tiring. Ample lighting too, yes we know you are nocturnal and can see in the dark, others cannot.

A simple ventilation fan as a minimum . Solvents for gun maintenance and grinding sparks just love to interact. !! Always worth ensuring reasonable ventilation even though we often want to make sure there are no draughts and up keep out the cold in winter , however assuming you do fit a hearth for knife making that will be vented so might be enuf .
