As long as the point of the slug is not proud of the end of the rolled crimp there's no problem with these, however I wouldn't want them if star crimped.

Found them to be very good, delivery by TNT usually within a week, just convert their € prices straight to £ as they have a 20% VAT rate.

For some reason (I assume shipping restrictions) you can't place an order containing primed hulls on the web site, if you want to order them (which can work out cheaper) drop them an email with your list of stuff and they will generate an invoice for you, never seen any increase in the shipping costs though

Is this a new restriction on primed hulls as I've not had a problem in the last year and had about 5000 primed hulls from them via Internet orders ?

I've always chosen the TNT delivery option on my orders but they always come via DPD for me and the addition of their 22% vat does make it virtually £ for € after currency conversion.

I've tried star and roll crimps and various wads for my home made 28g Lee slugs with various powders
18.5grains of Red Dot or 21.5grains of Vectan AS and both give similar shot patterns and fps.
I find the roll crimp is a more consistent feeder than star crimp with my M2 but that could be down to my Lee Loadall not being the best as I find the finish on the star is not perfectly round and can catch on the edge of the chamber, I don't get this with roll crimps, my roll crimper was £14 off eBay and I have it setup in a variable speed drill on drill press stand, cheap as chips.

Yeah that will be it, All their live products say No PayPal on them, due to paypal restrictions, I can't use their payment systems for live items on my website.

Out of interest primer, why wouldn't you star crimp those slugs? BPI list a fair bit of data for them. Decrimping under recoil?

Ps. Paid via credit card fine with no need to invoice. After VAT and postage, before powder I'm at just under 50p/bang assuming one shot from each hull.

Should get a few shots per hull

I get a lot of once fired from the PSG shoots and clay grounds.
Keep using them until they show signs of damage.

Makes for very cheap slug loads

Sounds like ya need to sort out the final taper crimp adjustment....among other things

If you think about where the centre point is on the slug head in relation to the primer on the cartridge in front in the magazine tube you don't really want something hard against the primer as there could be a slim chance of ignition in the tube and even a slim chance is not worth taking.

How come you went for that design slug over a more traditional rounded style? What are you going to be using the slugs for?
