Three paragraphs of waffle from the official and still none the wiser. Do representatives receive lessons in the art of talking a lot while saying very little these days or are those persons so gifted naturally attracted to such roles?

FUD. On the threat level of both an external attack and "those nutters with guns".

What utter sensationalist dross, the inference is the Skeet shooters are the only athletes that need protection, quite what from remains to be seen. Maybe the police are protecting the public from the Skeet shooters fo fear of someone uttering the word 'pull' or possibly the Skeet shooters have become potential targets for terrorists or vigilantes because of their evil culling of those poor clays...

Why am I not surprised by such articles.

As an aside, what are the Scottish shooters going to do come the vote, because if independence does come I have a feeling there is a going to be a huge problem for them...

Probably from all those anti-gun nutters that jumped on the Dunblane bandwagon and don't want anyone to enjoy shooting sports anywhere let alone in their own back yard. ****

They appear to be taking the possibility of a terrorist attack seriously.

The West Coast Fire Service have been trained to handle a Nuclear contamination emergency.

They chose the West Coast as it hopefully would be far enough away to be unaffected by say, a dirty bomb.

Was surprised to see a feature on the BBC news tonight about one of the Scottish SB rifle shooters.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

I just watched a very positive piece on ITV Wales News about a couple who are both shooting in the Commonwealth Games but for different countries... :good:

I'm sure that the Ebola and Norovirus will turn around when they see the formidable defences in their way.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.
