So the mod will have been a 1/2"X28 (UNEF) - for the US M16 barrel nut spec.
Will be the same thread as the S&W MP15-22 as well

As you seem to have a standard flash hider I'll be guessing this one is ½UNEF and not a metric thread, but these can be found in different thread sizes as well).
