So the mod will have been a 1/2"X28 (UNEF) - for the US M16 barrel nut spec.

Will be the same thread as the S&W MP15-22 as well

Bit of a limited market, but still of interest to someone with such a barrel threading

SGC have been known to put metric threads on some of their ARs. Not sure now if the ones I've seen are V22s or Bob's own barrels.
As you seem to have a standard flash hider I'll be guessing this one is ½UNEF and not a metric thread, but these can be found in different thread sizes as well).
