The deal is done!

I went to see Steve at Mfl firearms today and decided to have the 8x56R Steyr M95.

What I need now is some chargers, anyone know where I can find any this side of the pond?

ebay is your best bet - the Bulgarian seller I got mine from was selling them in lots of 3 and 5, but he was starting to run low after I made few purchases from him! O:-) I'll see if he's listing any at the moment.

BTW Welcome to the M95 club :shakeshout:

Edit: No he's all out. There is another Bulgarian seller listing them individually but I'll see what else I can find.

SORTED! I picked some up from Numrich.

The variation is going in on Monday, I just have to put up with the tingles in the nether regions until the ticket comes back!!

ukrifleman, keep an eye on the card you used to pay with at Numrich, their system got hacked a while back and folks got burned, myself included and they wouldn't admit they were hacked even though it's been posted all over on forums over here by others who were burned as well.. Fortunately I got my money back.

Numrich is a great source for parts but they are tw@ts when it comes to international shipping. They charge some thing like $35 just to stick a friggin customs label on a package and call it "export handling fees" and that's on top of any shipping charges.

Only 4 just to be able to shoot it and not risk damage the extractor by loading single rounds.

Thanks for the heads up re the card hacking, I will inform my bank just in case there is any unauthorised withdrawal of funds.

Pity they don't use pay-pal.

FWIW, My Colombian Mauser has been de-activated (not a pretty sight) and is due to go to the Birmingham Proof House for certification.

Bit late to the party I know but there is a guy in France who sells M95 en blocs for a reasonable price on eb*y, I think his handle there is nenel33 - I got 10 from him when I got my long rifle, think it worked out at just under £3 apiece delivered
