Wimmins T - Anybody heard of it?

#1 Post by DaveB »

I am trying to do an evaluation of British L13A4 Blank, and was told that it is loaded with a propellant called Wimmins T. I have never heard of this propellant, and an internet search yields nothing whatever of any use.

Anybody know anything about this propellant? What type is it? Does it have a rough equivalency to anything I may actually have heard of - like something from Hodgdon, ADI, or IMR? sign85

Wimmis is a swiss city and there is a factory Nitrochemie that does manufacture gun powders. They have a website search swiss reload. There is is no mention of the powder you mention it is very likely a non canister grade.
Sincerely
Filippo
