Here Rob. Shamelessly stolen from the Low Mill Ranges site......What's the ball park figure for the price of one of these things? I remember the test in Shooting Sports and it was around 1200 quid!! 1200 with Ivor Johnson engraved on the slide....... !!

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Go one, I'll take that bet........ ;)

What day is it today? Friday? How about last Tuesday, 3 days ago..... :D

(And I bet, when we examine fully the "technicalities", I'll still win even more (It sounds childish but you'll get what I mean....)

Those aren't the same as the one that they're selling at the tunnel starting at £650 though are they?

I dont know. The 1911 offered by Low Mill was the only one I was aware of......

This is the one I'm thinking about:

£1200 for a plinker is too rich for my tastes no matter how good it is.

The ones sold by The Tunnel look far better IMHO as the barrel extension looks like a silencer rather than a tube stuck to the front of the slide. And at half the price.....

Does anybody know how you disassemble it? Does the silencer not prevent you from moving the slide forward and off the barrel? Does it unscrew to reveal a barrel extension?

So many toys, so many questions and not enough money. Heather we want a full report and pictures!!
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!
