My Mum rang last night and mentioned the article was in the newspaper, I think she is going to cut it out and post it to me :)

It was a good read although I do wonder at some of the statements:

Most of the kills were at a range of 1,200 metres using the 7.62 mm L96 sniper rifle.

That is certainly pushing the envelope with an L96 and at number 0166 it will be an old and cherished friend

I am listening to LBC 97.3.

My ears just pricked up as the man on air said that later he would be talking to Toby Harnden, author of Dead Men Risen. He also went on to say that he was due to be on a few weeks ago but the MOD decided they didn't like his book and gave the publisher £150,000 to buy up all the copies.

The two snipers mentioned in that article are good mates of mine. One of whom I served with in Iraq and sniper platoon. A top Bloke and one of the best Soldiers ive ever met. Rifle 0166 does have an impressive "tally" I can tell you that :)
