The rifle still has it's rear sight, which is usually the first thing to go missing from these rifles and comes with two seven round magazines. Most Marlin magazines should fit this rifle as the spare magazine was for a Marlin 995 rifle.

For Sale my Marlin 989M2 semi auto. Reluctant sale but I need the slot and to rationalise the number of firearms I have.
Designed for HV 22lr, it's accurate rifle and was my main rifle for knocking over the bunnies. Serial number puts it as being built in 1977.
All the above groups were shot with RWS HV ammo @ 25m and IIRC the centre group is a box of 50 rounds.
