Important - Parker Hale 1200TX rearsight

If, in the last 12 months, you bought the TOP HALF of a Parker Hale Model 5E target rearsight from Surrey Guns, or you acquired such an item from somebody you know who has connections to Surrey Guns, or you came into possession of a complete 1200TX/Model 5E rearsight from Surrey Guns, please PM me immediately.

The picture below shows a generic Model 5E rearsight on a generic 1200TX rifle. The portion I am interested in locating is the arm that moves up and down, carrying the elevation and windage knobs.


I will not discuss the reason for this post on open forum. Please be mindful of the Scotsgun Rule when replying.

I am now informed that a handstop from the same rifle also went missing at the same time as said rifle was in the possession of Surrey Guns. They deny the sight body or the handstop were on the rifle when it came to them, which is news to me as the club armourer because I know the rifle went to them as a complete unit - and the nature of the work they were undertaking would have required the sight body to be present.

I am less optimistic about finding the handstop (how many to a pound?), but if you have any knowledge of the whereabouts of a Parker Hale Model 5E rearsight arm or a curved stainless steel handstop, please let me know.
