calico where are you now?
Anyone remember the calico? Their were some .22 fixed stock rifles or carbines around post pistol ban, i saw one for £150 last year, they promised so much but got nowhere.....Under ejecting 100 round mags easily changeable.......did flick colt or s & buy em out?
When someone says "it's not about the money" you know what? it probably is all about money!
Re: calico where are you now?
I read somewhere that they had some legal issues at one point, something to do with the magazine capacity.
Someone wants £1800 for the M100 on gunstar!

Re: calico where are you now?
I was looking for calico some time ago .... not the gun but the cream coloured paint in B&Q , that has also disappeared from existence

Re: calico where are you now?
Saw a rifle version of one at Severnside range just before Xmas.
Re: calico where are you now?
My Dad has one, bought it a few years ago from Armalon.
It's an interesting rifle, We've yet to have a malfunction, The Iron sights are ok, however, (if you can find or get someone to ship you a scope mount) mounting optics is a pain, it's high off the stock and it's impossible to maintain any form of cheek weld.
The Magazine is fascinating to look at and it's operates well, plus hey it's 100 rounds! Remember though, 100 rounds can be fired in seconds but it takes minutes to fill up, you need to wind the spring to a certain tension, fill in around 25-35 rounds, release spring tension and then repeat the above.
From my understanding Calico, are not willing to ship ANYTHING to the UK, I only have the sight mount due to a friend in the US living close to a Calico retailer.

Theres one on Guntrader with 2 100rd mags and the scope mount but they're after £750 tesnews
I must admit i thought they'd gone under too, but because of a failed arms deal to supply various US police/military agencies.
Loved seeing the gun in Dark Angel (terrible Dolph Lungren film) even if the effect of the gun was 'slightly' exaggerated
Skip to 54:10 to see the gun being fired
