Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!
Re: 338 Labua Kaboom
For reasons I'll never understand, a club I used to shoot with years ago used to drop a cable tie down the muzzle of their 10/22 when it was in the cabinet. Very small, very light, and because it was translucent against a stainless barrel it wasn't the most obvious item. And yes, I did fire it downrange. Didn't do any noticeable harm, but the cable tie did look crinkled afterwards.

I know what you mean about silliness but momentary 'brain-farts' aside it never ceases to amaze me when people demonstrate the capacity to be willfully daft ....I have on several occasions seen a 338 LM fired , the case refuse to extract, the owner hammer it out with a cleaning rod down the muzzle .....AND THEN DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!!!
Duh Huh...maybe something is not right with the cartridges?...I moved away from that firing point!

there is a .455 webley on display in Harare sports club with the barrel blown to bits and the round partially visable in the clay that was plugging it ... apparently the young officer that pulled the trigger was killed ....
