Well done Gundoc, if we left anything even remotely challenging or outside of our comfort zones to someone else the world would be a boring place. We spent a lot of time working on an anodising process. The Viking is quite good at it these days however if I add the cost of the equipment, materials and time together each part must cost GBP100.00 to do and more to the point these days we get all of our parts Cerakoted and I much prefer the finish. No matter, we did it and still can if needed although I would never want to do it as a commercial venture.

I'm buying a dip kit, can't wait :-)
I tried anodising some paintball parts a few years ago, really didn't go well, blew up several battery chargers before I gave up :-) Enjoyed trying though

Tried a battery charger and it failed! These days we use a stabilised power supply with a thingy to control the current output. We did have a couple of issues with the hangers burning off in the early days so we went to titanium hangers and they worked perfectly. Memorable occasions include Christel briefly skimming the instructions for the caustic wash before mixing it with cold (Rapidly becoming hot) water in the kitchen.

Oh how we laughed

After that she read every single sheet of paper at least three times and I maintained a safe distance when she donned her safety glasses...
