It's so close to a semi-auto fullbore I don't think it's unreasonable. Yes I suppose trigger pull might be something to consider, but if it works, that's good enough for me.

I went on Friday and enjoyed it, funnily enough I went with the intention of picking up a CZ455 and came home with two shotguns instead - oops!

First I got this - Browning Medallist 12g 30" , intended to use as a cheap clay gun - one I don't mind letting someone else use:



And second after I had a look at Beretta 1301 and decided it wasn't for me (can't get hold of one anyway) I accidentally bought this Mossberg 930 JM for a bit of club level PSG:



All in all I enjoyed it but it got very busy in Hall 2 and got quite annoying trying to get around - not enough to stop me going again next year.

As someone else said, there wasn't a lot of ammo on sale and what I did see was a fair bit steep so I didn't bother buying any - I was also hoping to get a look at a Hornady or Dillon progressive but I didn't see any (Other than Hornaday Classic press and a couple of Lee single stages) so that was a bit of a shame.

Just got back and I thought it was loads better than last year, I got to see everything and have a great chat with Accuracy International, Westlake Engineering and Caledonian Classic Arms. I also go to handle the vz.58 and an AI AT308, so it was well worth the trip. It was full but not too busy and it was a breeze to park and get in, they got it right this year.

Has Alan@Westlake actually got any stock of his armscor revolvers yet?!

You won't want his Armscor when you see his latest ML revolver - it's awesome! I have pics if anyone would like to see it.

Better this time round and lots of temptation!

Came back with a Grand Power K22 LBP, put name down for a Stoeger M3000 shotgun, but star ot the show for me was the CSA vz58 as l thought the quality was impressive and a real alternative to an AR. The trigger release version looks interesting if HO approved. Not sure if l can wait that long to have one and might have to order a straight pull. Is this a cult classic for the future l wonder?

Vortex took money off me with the purchase of a Strikefire and PST 1-4. The new Spitfires look nice especially the1x dot in circle.

The last purchase was a scope rail for my GSG Stg 44, the new MP40 was on show on the same stand.

All in all a good but expensive day.

I too managed to come away with one of the last K22s they had on the stand (didn't actually intend buying one yesterday but as soon as I handled one I knew I wanted it)



Spoke quiet a bit to Scott about the TR 58's I love my SP 58 and the TR looks like it could be the closest we will ever get to SA.

Very impressed with the New Vortex Spitfires might just have to get one to mount on to my 58

Have now started planning in my head what I need to save etc as I too pawed the new AI AT... so lovely....

All in all not a bad day on Sunday. Parking was a breeze, def seemed to be a lack of vendors compared to last year, managed to grab some CCI MiniMag which is always good. Though after buying the K22 I figured I would not push my luck with the boss and save some future purchases till later this year......

That revolver is nice, now if only it was in Stainless......but I still wouldn't buy a ML :-)

I was there yesterday too and seeing as the last shooting show I went to was the Phoenix a couple of years ago, it blew my socks off, loved the 50 cal society stand. I took a couple of non-shooters who had a great time and we even had a good belly laugh at the folk in the airsoft creche.

Accidently bought a GP K22 from Caledonian Arms with an extra 4 mags and an Alpha MLR from Westlake with 3 extra cylinders, just got to wait for Hants to process the variation, which will probabily take longer than Alan to get any stock in!

All in all a good day out, would like to see a PSG demo next year, plenty of space for it?
