Anti lurkers...

As far as I see it, the FB forum has nothing to hide, nothing to be ashamed of, if we have anti lurkers on here then they are more than welcome and I urge them to sign up and join the lively debates we have.

Alpha1,
Well Pal no its not worth the bother to a old fart like me. But if you want to waste your time trying to get hand guns legalised be my guest and if you want to shoot your hand gun once a week I assume its either a black powder or a long barrelled revolver then be my guest I would not entertain either of them. Pal.
Three things

1. See Dromia's post

2. Assumption is the mother of all fcuk ups

3. With shooters like you we don't need antis.

Don't know which of Dromias post you are referring to.
I assumed you lived in the Uk seing as you seem so hot and bothered about getting hand guns reinstated in this Country. I got that wrong Well I live in the UK and we have got no chance of ever owning hand guns legally in the UK.
I am not anti just realistic while you are banging on about changing UK gun laws I am just getting on with my shooting and reloading. I have tried black powder revolvers could not wait to get rid of the damn thing. I have tried long barrelled revolvers no thank you. If other people want to shoot them good luck to them fine I am not interested. I am also not interested in Target Rifle but if other people want to shoot it fine. I am not over fond of .22 rifles but if other people want to shoot them fine. Hand guns are never going to be made legal in the Uk no point in getting hung up over it.

It doesn't matter whether you think you can, or think you can't: you're right.

Alpha, when I was young I was always taught, if you don't ask for it you wont get it, well that's the case here, however slim the chance is we need to keep pushing, if we are not pushing on the 'offensive' then we are automatically on the back foot having to act defensively to other events.

It is a simple case of, to quote TCB 'Education, Education, Education' the more people we teach about the pros or at least the realities of gun ownership, the better. If we give up, they have won, it's as simple as that, I know for one that I will push for this until my last breath, as it is what I see as being right.

And I applaud you for that Sir. Even though I think you are wasting your time.

Alpha1,

Nah of course you don't, that's why you're now saying you assumed I lived in the UK
I assumed you lived in the Uk seing as you seem so hot and bothered about getting hand guns reinstated in this Country.
I get hot and bothered over the kneejerk reactions of politicians wherever it may be when the majority suffer as a consequence of a very small minority and as a shooter so should you.
Well I live in the UK and we have got no chance of ever owning hand guns legally in the UK.
Nope, not with shooters like you around.
I am not anti just realistic while you are banging on about changing UK gun laws I am just getting on with my shooting and reloading. I have tried black powder revolvers could not wait to get rid of the damn thing. I have tried long barrelled revolvers no thank you. No you are not "realistic". What you are is typical of the group of shooters who think that I don't shoot that or I'm not interested so it doesn't affect me and you couldn't be more wrong. All people like you do is make it easier for the antis and the politicians to further their agendas, place more restrictions on shooters and eventually outlaw civilian ownership of firearms altogether.

Instead of adopting the attitude you have now you should be getting on board regardless of what issue is regarding firearms and be fighting tooth and nail to ensure you keep your firearms instead of the I'm all right Jack attitude that you have now. Then again you have already made your position clear on this issue "Well Pal no its not worth the bother to a old fart like me"

Well not to worry, at least there are people out there who will keep on doing something to ensure that you are all right JACK and can carry on shooting.

Blu
