Re: Brit v Swiss v German
I thought we might use the 40 round cof used at the gallery rifle comps which is shot from 200 yards on Fig11`s.
Then have the precision element at,say,600. I am more than happy shooting my milsurps at 600.
Probably 3 convertible sighters then 12 to count or what ever we can agree on.
If we have enough interest we could have the two distances running all day so people can then use two or three rifles.
I am going to suggest a weekend in September, not sure which at the moment.
The only down side, as I have discovered in the past, is people committing then not turning up.
I would suggest that a non refundable deposit of, say, £15 is made.
I am sure some of my club mates would be interested as would some LERA members.
I am just thinking aloud btw!!

Would it be doable at diggle? Bit more central and I think it's just 15 quid for anyone. Not sure how accommodating they are though

If it was at Diggle I'd bring the .303 carbine out to play.
I'd probably score last but would still come out to play!

A more suitable venue like Diggle rather than Bisley would encourage me to attend.

Sounds like we are going to run into a Union / Confederate situation before even starting sign01
