The Fig 11 (charging man) target is shot for CSR at Bisley, another example of different attitudes now prevailing on the shooting committee.
I would suspect the target sheds are full of the politically correct DP1 targets, although I believe they are retained for cadet use??

Its a paper target, there is no legislation prohibiting their use and anything locally that prevents it is self imposed.

Thanks to sin h and you John, i can find nothing at the moment but I have a few people chasing leads, ican find nothing Iin the guidance to home office approved clubs which is good.......just for reference there's no elvis targets just the 1500 and fig 11 with both the square lines and thecircular ones with the blue ring.....

There's no law against this type of target just that the national governing bodies at the time caved in to political correctness following the Cullen report and changed the targets. Obviously these targets can not be used in recognised competitions where the official target is stipulated but are quite O.K. to use in club competitions and practise unless you are afraid of portraying the "wrong" image.
In reality it doesn't matter what the target looks like as most shooters concentrate of hitting a particular much smaller mark on the target anyway.

The Rectangular Fig 11 have long been superseded by the Circular scoring target. You would be surprised what people would pay for these on Fleabay.
