I had a play with this on my Tablet and it worked ok, so in theory something you can take to the range.

Remember that you need to be precise with the information that you put in or the information that you get out will not be worth much.

You'll need an internet connection on the range for it to work.

It works as a web application with my Kindle and Android devices so it could be used at the range if you have a connection. Alternatively you can always enter your data on your PC/Laptop, create your Range card and copy it to a spreadsheet such as Excel and modify/print as required. It will be interesting to see how it compares to JBM Ballistics however if the calculations come out the same as the Kestrel AB version it is going to be very good.

I am VERY happy with the Android phone version...its quick and easy to use and as accurate as I could ask for given accurate inputs....no need for connection to web.

For speed I dump a range table to spreadsheet and laminate it.

I just checked it against my kestrel AB and it is very close however my Kestrel AB has been corrected for my bullets as they are pointed. As far as elevation goes the Kestrel is scarily accurate, on windage it is not so good however the wind meter is only a snapshot of what is happening where you are so by the time you take the shot the data is history however I guess it is a moderate indication for the first shot. Best it has got me is within a minute at 1000 yards first shot with the 6,5x47 (F Class target) worst case is perfect for elevation but off the frame (600y frame shot at 1200 yards) These days I use the Kestrel to confirm drops against my range card, windage is based on experience, or not....
