I just looked on the Bass Pro website and saw that they ship to the UK. Yay I thought, then I saw that the shipping cost is 45% of the order value or $40 whichever is greater.

Even the Yanks are getting into rip-off Britain.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.

I considered adding one to mine, nice scope. Any chance of a pic of the rifle with the scope?

Cheers,

Craig.

Hi Halodin

I'm going to photograph it but I'm going to wait until I get the Charger Clip Guide from Fultons @ Bisley this coming Saturday. It requires drilling and tapping for the rear scope mount screw. It does look good with the scope on.

So's not to hi-jack this thread, I'll send the photo's by p.m..

Cheers and happy new year to all for tonight party2 party2 party2

:goodjob: No extravagance here --- but a g11 Schmidt Rubin for £170 seems a good deal ;¬)) :goodjob:

I made the mistake of telling the Zeiss rep at a BASC meeting that I could never get on with Zeiss bino's. Big Mistake! He got me to look through a pair of Victory 8x42's. Result.... wild extravagance.
