Which factory rounds ? I found that old RG 2z and the newer Fiocci have a very bull nose and don't feed well.

I am actually looking to buy the newer model but the one that takes the Uzi mags like DM has,
Rather than the new glock style.....

(As we're revisiting this...) Just to balance things out, my Glock mag LRA9 has worked pretty much flawlessly (over 2k of PPU 115gr) since receiving it 16 months ago. Only issues were that the barrel initially needed the crown re-doing and the nylon plug in the buffer needed replacing - each sorted within a week by Bob/SGC.

I'm certainly not belittling the experiences some have had with their SGC 9mm's; there are a couple of other earlier Glock models at my club, each having had significant issues with feeding, requiring return trips and feed ramp work to sort out.

Pic below, alongside my S&W 15-22 (both great fun!)...

Perhaps not relevant but I used to run my glock17 with major loads and never had a problem and to balls up reloading a 9mm case would take a special kind of idiot who would most like have gotten the Darwin Award long ago !

Maybe there was issues with certain guns? Easily sorted ? Atrocious customer care not so easily sorted ? I for one will never buy one of sgc 's products until there is some transparent behaviour over these failures from him.

When I tried to deal with him he was a rude arrogant man and as such my money went elsewhere.

I really appreciate everyone's comments....... It's a shame that the Uzi mag on ris so much more the better looking design - but he glock mag one seems the better choice.... But at my Own peril maybe lol.

Nice rifles, I especially like the LM7 with the ACOG, :good: but did you mean to post them here instead?

Back on topic

As the year comes to a close we can reflect on the results and lessons from all this.

1 Do not plaster it all over the internet that you are reloading for the 9mm LRR in breach of the warranty terms if you intend to use warranty.
2 Do not post that 1 of the bullets got stuck in the lands due to not enough crimp (pigeon watch) or "first 30 were strange as they were crimped to the point of indenting the bullet but it was still able to be rotated". (FBUK) see post from Tackb on 9mm reloading Darwin award.
3 Do not try a warranty claim with SGC if you did Num 1 & 2.
4 When it all goes wrong do not plaster it all over the internet until issue fully resolved. This went viral and no company will admit liability if they then have it made public often things are fixed on the QT with no admission of fault.
5 Do not try a reloaded round from anyone who did num 2 .

ATB
best wishes to all for the new year
