Extravagance? Bought a couple of Peli and SKB gun cases. Extravagant because gun bags/cases are something I am not short of..... I think I may actually collect them!

Bargain? A .35 Remington Marlin 336 RC in mint condition for £250 and a bit of a knackered 1893 vintage Marlin 1892 .22lr for 50 quid that's been restored to a shooting condition!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Ooooh, an M14, any good as a straight pull?

My extravagance for 2013 was buying a Clarkson Mk2 Tool & cutter grinder for making chamber reamers, and other gun related tooling.
Best bargain, was finding a Mosin Nagant receiver in France for €45.

Extravagance was Ovenpaa's AE in 308. Turned out to be a fantastic gun.

Best value was a cleaning rod guide from the same source.

Extravagance was a 26" 6,5x47 barrel for my Accuracy International.
Bargain was a virtually new 7,62x51 barrel for the same rifle a couple of weeks later
