D. & J. Fraser, Edinburgh (Gunmakers)

#1 Post by ResearchPress »

I've been researching a little on the Scottish gunmakers D. & J. Fraser. They manufactured a falling block breech loading rifle for Match and Military Breech Loader competition in the 1880s. I've added a page to my web site which readers may find of interest.

See: Daniel Fraser.

Thank you for that, David.
It was an interesting read.

The mention of the NRA in the article made me think of the "Boys of Bisley Movement" that Dromia is trying to research.
Would you by any chance know anything about this?

I hadn't see the BoBM thread before. Nothing I recognise, and there's little in the discussion to even gauge what it was.
