A couple of years ago, Kahles repaired a late 90's steel tube fixed power scope I have free of charge, I was very impressed, and wouldn't hesitate to buy their products again!Alpha1 wrote:I emailed Kahles service centre in Austria and asked them if they do a cam for the ZF95 in 6.5x55 and if so were would I get one.
I received a reply to day asking for my address so they could send me one for free. How is that for service. YES GET IN.

Re: Kahles ZF95 scope info required.
Didn't I say that Kahles produced a ballistic cam for 6.5x55mm along with many others (7mm Remington Mag, .308Win 168gr Hirtenberger Match, etc) in the third post of this thread?
The 6.5x55 was based upon the ballistics of the Norma VM cartridge with a 9.01g (139gr) bullet (800 m/sec, 2625 ft/sec). According to Kahles the P/N was #335-1573.

I also have a length of 1" Aluminium round bar stock that the guys ordered for me that I don't know what I am going to do with.
Re: Kahles ZF95 scope info required.
I am a happy bunny this arrived in the post this morning a 6.5x55 cam just need to fit it then find some were to zero it. Finding a suitable range might be a bit of a challenge it might have to wait until next year.
Its for use with a 139 grain bullet. In the mean time I will spend some time building ammo for the rifle and shooting it over a chronograph to get some were near the round they have recommended. It will also give me time to play with cartridge over all length.
But not a bad result it was free and they sent me a catalogue and a lens cleaning cloth along with the calibrated cam.
