Had one of those Saiga .223's a few years back, worked a treat on Russian ammo, it hated RG surplus. Mine was 1:7 twist. Great fun gun, enjoy!
Mine actually shot well for a rustic implement, managed a few V Bulls at 500 yards on irons although one RO was all p1ssy because it needed a strong PULL to eject the empty - which went a few feet! .
