Could it be that the 86 MOA is from one extreme to another? i.e. from all the way down to all the way up.

yer i thought about that, however when i zeroed the scope at 100 yards i dont think i used that much elevation moa; that would mean i used over 30 moa to zero at 100 yards !!Sandgroper wrote:Could it be that the 86 MOA is from one extreme to another? i.e. from all the way down to all the way up.

Note your zero , wind it one way till it stops then wind it the other way counting this will tell you how much elevation you have , you may find you need an angled base to use it all.

Yes it is. 86 MOA is what is available. An incline rail is what is needed to go loooonnnnnggggg....!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Usually the rail on the AR style rifles have 0' cant, you need a base with at least 20' to get out there, joe wrote:yer i thought about that, however when i zeroed the scope at 100 yards i dont think i used that much elevation moa; that would mean i used over 30 moa to zero at 100 yards !!Sandgroper wrote:Could it be that the 86 MOA is from one extreme to another? i.e. from all the way down to all the way up.
