Hi Martin,

Another Enfield to look at would be an Envoy target rifle which will shoot the distances you want easy and they sell for less than £800

Calling first dibs on the AIA
I am surprised at the interest my AIA creates I have had several offers to buy it. Yet they don't seem to get a good press. I have altered mine a bit. I have fitted a scope a new modified 5 round magazine its less bulky than the original. I have removed the muzzle break because crud keeps accumulating behind it. I fitted a custom made thread protector that makes it look quite sexy in my opinion
They are supposed to be inaccurate but mine shoots really well. Its another one I will not sell. Because its great fun and I really like reloading for it. I can shoot it indoors at 25 yards down loaded with cast boolits if I want. Great fun. :good:

We find our AIA 7.62x39 Goblinator to be very accurate too ! It's great fun to knock down steel plates at 400 yards, then to slip on an AK-47 30 round magazine and have a mad minute...

I don't mind rifles with a bad rep - makes it more worthwhile ironing out the bugs and getting them shooting right! :shakeshout:

'Ironing out the bugs' is one thing, but with a Mas you might as well melt it down...I was going to say 'and start again', but thinking about the metal quality you could be better off making a boot scraper or such with it razz
