Flint locks/ percussion- questions

I have a Armisport .50 cal smoothbore that is held on my SGC, it is accurate so far to 50 yards. I have yet to try it at 100 yards. It was cheap to buy and is cheap to use

Thanks for the tips guys, are there many specialist items I'll need (powder flash and cap granted)? I'm sure i'll get deeper into it the longer i go but initially i'd like to be cheap and cheerful!

Ball on an S2? That is not a good idea.

A slug cartridge is S1 ammunition. A ball of lead is not.

That's why you have no acquire / keep on your FAC for black powder weapons.

So as long as it's a smooth bore muzzle loader, you can cram what you like down the barrel and still be S2. :cheers:

Basically correct. Just to be utterly pedantic, you could in theory cram something in that contravened S5(1)(c) or S5(1A)(f), but otherwise OK!
