Good find Karen and it is interesting to see just how little Stickledown has changed over the last 100+ years.

Is that a footpath or cart track heading diagonally across?

Who knows, but you can still see it if you look at Google maps!

I had a squint at Google Maps trying to trace the old route of the railway from Bisley to the main line at Brookwood but lost it in the dense tree cover at the border of the camp - assuming it runs west from Lloyds RC down the sunken cutting.
No, the other way. I believe that the cutting was an extension towards Pirbright camp.

Possibly the original path down to the butts before the road to the left was put in?

If it wasn't for the couple in the foreground with obviously outdated clothes, that could easily be a modern day view of Sticks. Surprising the cart track's lasted until today.

Looks like a railway track - just for moving stuff into the butts or part of the "main" line?

I don't think you could quite run the 'Bullet' on those tracks.

So the tracks to the target sheds in Century butts have gone? When did that happen? Bring back competitor marking, dammit!

Naah, look at what good order the firing-points are kept in.
