Target Shooter magazine??

#1 Post by rox »

Have 'Target Shooter' hidden the 'read online now' button again? or is it now 'paid only'? They only talk about iThing users - are the rest of us able to read it? Do you now get a pdf if you pay, or a crappy online reader that you can't use disconnected?

They don't half make it difficult and unclear!

Sorry guys but rising costs mean that we sell it or close it. We make very little from the mag but we would like to keep it going. We have readers around the world, which makes us think that what we are doing is worthwhile.

I thank everyone for their support.

IMHO its worth every penny.

Mike.

My only real gripe is that having reinstalled my Ipad app (I have been a subscriber since it was introduced) some of the earlier editions, which I have already paid for, now require me to buy them again.

Good job I saved all the PDF copies in I books. :-)

No problem with paying, I just couldn't work out whether or not that was the case, and whether it was only for Apple devices, since that is all that's mentioned. If you want people to pay, they need to know what they are going to get!

Now my real interest is in gallery rifle of which there seem to be little of except in the early days of the mag.So when i got the email to say this months was out i thought i'd have a look and see if there was anything of interest to me.But and it maybe me but i'm having difficulty in finding out the contents to see if it's worth a quid.

We do our best to feature all 'target shooting' disciplines and related equipment. We are lucky that all our writers are comp. shooters and this month we concentrate on the F Class 'Worlds'. We cover Mini-rifle, practical shotgun, F Class etc. and we used to regularly feature Gallery Rifle in a monthly column. Unfortunately we haven't had any GR reports submitted lately.

Not enough practical shooting stuff for my liking, and not enough non-UKPSA articles (I know you have run other practical articles in the past, so probably not enough willing writers I guess?)
