zf41 + rifle Auction

Salut,

The description S/42' ...COMPLETE WITH its 'ZF41/1' optic implies that this is the originally fitted ZF.

To me it looks like a k98 with a post-war added ZF ?
I'd normmaly view such addition as ruining a good rifle but since this K98 looks so heavily refurbished (re-blued + vanished) anyway, I guess it does not matter that much now.

But how does Holts comes up to such estimate of 2/3 K ?
£ 250 for the rifle + 50/70 sling + 30 muzzle-cap + 500/600 zf41, I don't even get to a grand .

Holts is supposed to be professional/experts, ZF41 are not my field, so maybe I am wrong ?
Am I missing something here ??
